Weld Neck Flange
A weld neck flange, also known as a tapered hub flange or high-hub flange, is a type of gasket that may shift pressure to the piping, resulting in a reduction in heavy proportion at the flange's bottom.
There are two types of weld neck flanges: the first is used with sweeps, while the second, longer kind is utilized with process units rather than piping. The weld neck flange is made up of a spherical connection that goes further than the circumference's rim. Such flanges, which are normally made of forging, are soldered to pipes.
The ring is machined with several holes to allow the flange to be fastened to a bolt gasket. Because of the architectural valve, this design is significantly superior.

The width of the weld end of this flange must be the same as the diameter of the connected pipe.
